A little clarity before we begin

Frequently asked
questions.

From your first idea to life after launch, here’s what to expect when we work together.

What kinds of websites do you build?

I build websites for small businesses, including new websites, redesigns, and focused landing pages. Whether you need to explain your services, showcase your work, or generate inquiries, we’ll start with what your customers need. If you’re considering booking tools, an online store, or other integrations, include those in your project checklist so I can assess the right approach.

How much will my website cost?

Each project receives an individualized quote. The price depends on the pages, features, content, and support you need. After reviewing your checklist and asking any follow-up questions, I’ll prepare a written proposal covering the scope, timeline, and price. We agree on those details before work begins.

How long does a website take to build?

The timeline depends on the size of the project, the features involved, and how ready your content is. Share your preferred launch date in the checklist, even if it’s only a rough timeframe. I’ll discuss what’s realistic and include an agreed timeline in your proposal. Timely feedback and content help keep the project moving.

Do I need my text, photos, and logo ready before contacting you?

No. You can get started with an idea and a description of your business. Let me know what you already have and where you need help. We’ll identify any content or asset work that needs to be included in your quote, then arrange file collection after you accept the proposal.

Will my website work on phones and be ready for search engines?

Mobile-friendly design and SEO foundations are part of my approach. That means planning for different screen sizes, clear page structure, and useful page titles and descriptions. Search visibility also depends on your content, competition, and ongoing work; a new website alone does not guarantee a particular ranking.

Can you help with an existing website?

Yes—website redesigns are one of the project options. Share your current website address, what isn’t working for you, and what you’d like to improve. I’ll review the project with you and recommend a scope. Whether the existing setup can be reused depends on its platform and your goals.

What happens after launch, and are there ongoing costs?

Ongoing support is quoted around your needs, such as occasional content changes, regular website care, or menu and product updates. Let me know if you’d prefer to manage updates yourself so we can plan for that. Hosting and any third-party subscriptions are identified separately, and payment timing and method are agreed in your proposal.

How do I get started, and does submitting the form commit me to anything?

Start with the “Tell me about your project” form. Your answers are sent directly to me, and I’ll use your contact details to follow up and prepare a quote. Submitting an inquiry does not commit you to a purchase, and no payment is collected through the form. We agree on the proposal before work begins.

Have something else in mind?

Tell me about your business and include any questions in your project checklist. “Help me decide” is always welcome.
